Zoom Poets Live!

Do you love language and  experiencing the joy when the right words are put together? Then you are in the right place. The Poets Laureate Program of Racine and Kenosha brings the love of the written word to our community through Zoom Poets Live!, a monthly virtual event, featuring performances by both past and current Kenosha and Racine Poets Laureate as well as other poets from southeastern Wisconsin and across the country.

On the second Saturday of each month at 7:00pm, Tony Gardner, Zoom Poets Live! host, will welcome you to the gathering. Over the next two hours, you're likely to experience a variety of styles and personalities from poets working in formal verse to those who engage in improvisation and are as much performers as they are practitioners of the poetic art form.
    
Admission to Zoom Poets Live! is free and it’s a great way to see the poets in action or join in yourself.  To take part in an upcoming event, send an email to Stephen Kalmar II at skalmar@wi.rr.com and let him know if you want to be in the audience or if you wish to recite some work.  We welcome all to come and listen to each other’s art. We want to support the poets in our community and bring an appreciation of poetry to all.
